Hamilton College Health & Counseling Center

This project involved building a new two-story 14,000 SF Health and Counseling Center for Hamilton College.  It consists of multiple exam and medical spaces throughout the 1st floor along with counseling and group activity spaces throughout the 2nd floor.  Design features include eight new geothermal wells for a closed-loop heating/cooling system and the second floor hardwood flooring is Hickory which was reclaimed from a grove of existing hickory trees that were on the site before the building was built. Hamilton College Practice Facility Addition

West Street Apartments

This three-story 52,000 SF project  provide (36) one-bedroom and (6) two-bedroom affordable housing units including 11 permanent supportive housing apartments for the homeless, those at risk of homelessness, and/or formerly homeless individuals or small families. There is also approximately 7,200 SF dedicated to the Community Services programs that the Rescue Mission of Utica will operate and will be located on the Ground Floor of the new facility.  To view project in its entirety please click on this link West Street Apartments

Lofts at Globe Mills

The Lofts at Globe Mill, located at 811 Court Street, Utica, NY, is a proposed mixed-income historic redevelopment that will target working families and individuals. The site is home to the former Globe Woolen Company Mills; a historic woolen mill complex and national historic district dating back to the 1870's. Charles A. Gaetano Construction is working to restore the historic integrity of the complex, as well as turning the 150,000 SF of the buildings into 149, 1-3 bedroom units, and commercial and retail space.

Central Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired-New Rehabilitation Facility

Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. is the Construction Manager for the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) New Rehabilitation Facility.  This 22,110 SF facility will provide rehabilitation services for individuals who suffer from vision loss and will include a research laboratory, a fitness center, and a pool. There will also be a 3,600 SF Garage/Storage Building.  This project is set to begin in June of 2018 and due to be complete in June of 2019.

Construction Management (CM) At Risk

We specialize in Construction Management services working with private colleges, non-profits, developers, and health care clients to deliver projects from pre-construction budgeting through complete project management. We provide office Project Managers and experienced on-site Superintendents for every project.

Conventional Design-Build

We have completed Design-Build projects for clients throughout Central and Northern New York. Offering single source responsibility, our Design-Build services include site selection, in-house AutoCAD drafting, complete project compliance, mechanical and electrical engineering with our independent professional engineers and architects, from concept through project completion. These projects tend to be larger and more complex.

General Construction

Since 1960, we have served Central and Northern New York clients as a traditional general contractor working from owner provided plans and specifications for both private and public clients. We self-perform concrete foundations and interior build-out with our experienced Superintendents and crews.

Mr. Gaetano has worked at the Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. since 1969. In 1993 he assumed responsibility for the company's business development. Under his leadership, the firm has tripled its work volume performed, while the business has grown into a full-service general contractor and design-build firm.
