The new home of the Arts Guild of Old Forge now known as "View", was completed in 2011. The project included the renovation of an existing building into Painting, Sculpture and Jewelry Making Studio space. The new building houses the business offices, Art Galleries and an Auditorium. The Auditorium has retractable seating for 180, as well as performance lighting and sound systems. There are also meeting/class rooms and the “Kinderwood” day care suite.

The project incorporates many “Green Building” initiatives including Spray-Foam Insulation, Geo-Thermal Heating and Solar Panels. The project has been awarded LEED Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). LEED is the Nation’s leading program for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
