Utica Rescue Mission

Utica, NY

Construction Notes

This masonry and pre-cast plank project broke ground in August, 2002. Construction carried on through the winter and the building was completed in June, 2003 as scheduled. Now complete, this new 6,000 square-foot, 3-story building adds another 30 beds to their existing Single Room Occupancy facility. Originally, this project was designed with the demolition of the existing brick building. However, the building happens to be on Utica's historical record and as a result, it had to be salvaged and fully renovated. Now complete, this historic brick building provides a link between the existing facility and our new Single Room Occupancy and it houses the Administration Staff for the Utica Rescue Mission.
