Overview

Ed Bailey brings over 40 years of experience in the construction industry as a carpenter, mason, ironworker, foreman and superintendent, with concrete work as his specialty.

As Superintendent, Mr. Bailey coordinates activities of all site contractors, assuring compliance with architect/engineer drawings and specifications. He also insures compliance with OSHA mandates and

federal, state and local zoning ordinances while maintaining the job schedule. He is one of our most experienced superintendents in Pre-Engineered Buildings.

Mr. Bailey's accomplishments include over 25 completed projects ranging from $100,000 to $7.5 million. He is experienced in new construction as well as renovations of commercial and industrial buildings, including multi-unit community complexes, hospital facilities, educational buildings and manufacturing plants.

Mr. Bailey is presently working on Accelerate Sports, a brand new 82,500 SF sports complex located in Whitesboro. This structure is a 275' x 300' pre-engineered building by Butler Manufacturing using their MR-24 standing seam roof system, and shadow-wall siding.

Key Projects

Feldmeier Equipment, Little Falls, NY.

The construction of a new 44,000 SF Manufacturing Plant included pile-supported foundations measuring just 70' wide but is 600' long and nearly 50' in height. The building has (6) 15-ton bridge cranes for the manufacturing o stainless steel tanks for the Dairy & Beverage industry. This project also included a 2,000 SF office and employee building.

American Alloy Steel, Rome, NY.

Renovation of 18,000 sf plant addition to the 60,000 sf Steel Plate Distribution Facility which was completed 3 years ago.

ELG Utica Alloys-Steel Recycling Facility, Herkimer, NY.

This project included a complete roof replacement, renovations to the 16,000 sf offices and plant restrooms, new truck access doors and truck scale, equipment foundations, and major mechanical and electrical work for the processing equipment.

Adirondack Harley Davidson, Mayfield, NY

This 24,000 SF Design-Build butler building features a conventional structural steel display tower, stone and timber framed facade and canopies with architectural standing seam roofing. The mechanical system includes a waste-oil boiler with in-floor radiant heat and roof top units.

SUNY Morrisville, Athletic Field, Morrisville, NY.

Replacement of the existing grass football field with a new all-purpose Synthetic Turf Field. Drainage and MUSCO lighting improvements were installed, as well as a new 13,000 SF Stadium building with Team Rooms, Concessions, Toilet Rooms, Press Box and a 3,000 seat capacity grandstand bleacher system.

SUNY Morrisville, Hospitality Suite, Morrisville, NY.

Located in the upper level of the new Morrisville Athletic Field Stadium, this upscale multi-use space is complete with facilities for conferences and banquets. There is a large glass curtain wall overlooking the new Athletic Field that allows for optimum viewing of all game day activities. The fit-out of this space included kitchen facilities, (2) large seating areas, conference area and bar-serving area

Utica Convertors, Utica, NY.

96,000 square-foot Manufacturing Expansion Facility, leased through Butler Real Estate..

The Fountain Head Group - Warehouse Expansion - New York Mills, NY.

An 80,000 square-foot Design/Build Warehouse expansion. The project features 24 feet clear height, single-slope roof with design for future expansion off the high sidewall. The extensive site work included the removal of over 40,000 cubic yards of unstable material which was replaced with structural fill, as well as a new truck entrance for five (5) loading docks.

Meyda Tiffany - Warehouse, office and showroom expansion, Yorkville, NY.

83,000 square-foot Butler Building. Demolished existing building and erected a new warehouse facility. Completed in six weeks using an innovative solution, at a significantly lower cost than "from the ground up" construction. Utilized both new and existing footings.

Power Line Trenchers, Clinton, NY.

Four buildings since 2006 including phase I and II of maintenance facility, 2-story office building and executive garage.

Northern Safety, Frankfort, NY.

60,000 square-foot distribution facility expansion.
