Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. is the Construction Manager for the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) New Rehabilitation Facility. This 22,110 SF facility will provide rehabilitation services for individuals who suffer from vision loss and will include a research laboratory, a fitness center, and a pool. There will also be a 3,600 SF Garage/Storage Building. This project is set to begin in June of 2018 and due to be complete in June of 2019.
This project consisted of replacing all HVAC ductwork and MAU-1, light fixtures, painting (ceilings, walls, and floors). To a lesser degree replace damaged process piping, PVC exhaust piping and drywall repairs. This project started in February 2018.

Gaetano Construction Corp. was presented with an AGC of America's Safety Excellence Award which is given to firms with impeccable records of workplace safety. The award was presented December 4, 2018 at the 32nd Annual Construction Industry Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY. The criterion for this award is very strict and each company applying must have outstanding safety programs to be considered.
