Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES – 84,000 Sf ($10.5M)

The project, under the direction of Turner Construction Company who was the on site Construction Manager and March Associates, Architects from Utica, N.Y., involved the construction of a new 84,000 SF Career and Technology wing, a new 5000 SF Environmental Conservation Building and the complete renovation of the Existing Career and Technology building as well as the existing Special Education wing. Work commenced in September of 2008 and was completed in June 2010.
The new addition included a new multi functional gymnasium, state of the art classrooms, new culinary kitchen, two new auto body classrooms with a new paint booth and new welding labs.
The renovation of the existing areas included all new HVAC and electrical upgrades, all new finishes, new windows and doors, a reconfiguration of the administrative offices, new learning center, dining room, 3 new cosmetology laboratories and all new handicap accessible toilet facilities.
