Utica College Welcome Center – 5,500 SF New Building ($1.2M)
Executive Project Manager:
David Kleps
Project Manager: Rob Munson
Superintendent: Jamie Sprague

Utica College’s new Welcome Center, serves as the first stop for prospective students and their families. After having abandoned a previous design that was over budget, we worked with the owner to develop a concept that met their budget and achieved a look that blended with the existing campus. The Design-Build project is a 5,500 sf custom Butler pre-engineered building with conventional exterior products including brick, blue stone, architectural metal, and aluminum/glass.

Some of the building’s features include a Great Room with a 17’ high ceiling and floor to ceiling Bluestone fireplace, six interview rooms for individual conferences with students and parents as well as a large open office area, conference room and lounge for faculty and staff The Great Room offers such amenities as wireless capabilities, USB Ports and audio-visual infrastructure for use by visiting families.
