Executive Project Manager: David Kleps

The Carbone Auto Group selected us for yet another major Design-Build project. The company purchased the former Chicago Market/Rite Aid Building at 5197 Old Commercial Drive to relocate their Corporate Offices and Reconditioning/Auction operations. The Offices will utilize the former 14,000 sf Drug Store and the Reconditioning Center/Auction Facility will utilize 16,000 sf of the former Grocery Store
The project included major demolition and re-construction of the exterior front walls of each section – Offices have ground face masonry veneer and Omega Panel – the Recon/Auction has a split face masonry and EIFS exterior. A new roof was installed on the Recon/Auction section.
The Offices include a new floor leveling system, new windows, insulation, drywall, ceilings and flooring along with new toilet and lunch rooms. The owner has purchased a modular office system for the perimeter offices, conference rooms and work stations.
The Re-Con and Auction Facility includes a new concrete slab with floor drains, 12 bays for Re-conditioning, a Wash Bay and Rustproof Bay as well as new Toilet and Lunch Rooms for the shop and new Auction Offices.
