Clinton, NY

Construction Notes

In need of a new home for their growing insurance business, GKG contacted us for advice on an expansion. Brian Gaetano worked with Larry Gilroy and researched various sites and found 210 Clinton Rd, a 14000 sf former medical office building was available.

Following pre construction services that included a cost comparison of a new building versus renovations, the site at the Kirkland/New Hartford line was chosen, and we entered in to a Design-Build contract with the owner.

Working with our architect, Alesia and Crewell Architects of New Hartford and the owner's office furniture and interior designer, Roberts Office Interiors, we developed design for a complete renovation of the space for class "A" office space.

The project included complete removal of all interiors and mechanical/electrical, a 60 seat training facility, 4 new toilet rooms, lunch room, secondary kitchen, a main conference room as well as several private offices and meeting rooms.

The finishes included an upgraded ceiling system with dry wall soffits, 8' high doors, carpet tiles, and ceramic tile.

The exterior features a new Alucobond entrance canopy, new. aluminum windows and doors, and landscaping.
