In the Spring of 1997, Mobile Climate Control Corporation, a Toronto, Ontario
based Manufacturer of heating and air conditioning systems for Urban Transit and
Military Vehicles sought a N.Y.S. site for their new American Manufacturing Plant
and Offices.
The Gaetano Companies negotiated the sale of a 4 1/2 acre parcel in the Charlestown
Business Complex Parking Lot along with a Design-Build Butler Building Project.
The facility consisted of a 60,000 SF Manufacturing Facility with an attached
(2) story 7,000 SF Office and additional 3,500 SF of interior plant support space.
The 28' height plant includes (5) loading docks, a 3500 SF storage mezzanine,
an 800 AMP electric service with an air rotation heat system.
The project broke ground in early July, 1997 and was completed in early January
1998 exceeding the owners occupancy date.
