Construction Notes

A 5,300 square-foot addition was added as a change order to the Main Entrance Addition. This addition took the place of the Hospital's courtyard and was added between the Main Entrance Addition and 3 other existing Hospital buildings. It features a 500 square-foot prefabricated therapy pool with a full skylight above, along with men's & women's shower rooms.

This facility was constructed of a structural steel frame with EIFS veneer. Unique to this project was the mechanical system which features a dehumidification unit that makes the area comfortable for both patients and staff. The addition was completed with a total construction time of 7 months. This project is the first of its kind for Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
