The Utica National Insurance project is a multi-million dollar endeavor that required
a total exterior upgrade and a partial interior renovation. Special coatings,
as chosen by the owner, were used on the attached seven-story office building
exterior. The design incorporates an entire new exterior curtain wall façade
at the two-story existing building. All new windows and new entrance doors were
installed throughout the structure. Interior improvements and expansions at the
cafeteria include folding partitions, skylights, adding a sprinkler system, and
adding zone controlled heating and cooling.
